Cannot Access OWA Using Win XP Pro

We have been using outlook web access for 3 years now and up until now have had no problems. The problem that I am having is when you try to access the OWA using a windows xp pro machine it is not possible. We are using basic authencation on the web server which means you just have to enter the username and password. When you do this on the XP Pro PC the login screen flashes and goes back to the login and therfore not letting you on. Does anyone have any ideas how I can overcome this problem?

Check your internet explorer security and advanced settings as well as Firewalls and if you have Zonealarm, you may want to check that. Maybe you have page transitions off? I have XP Pro and can access OWA fine. I found with a little tinkering with IE the issue gets resolved.
