We have a website for our business.
The public can access it fine and all is good however, our own users pc's within our company cannot bring up the page. They can bring up any other website with no problems.
I have checked the security settings and they seem ok.
We are using IE6. Im stumped. Any ideas?

From your local lan you would use the IP of the computer, not its internet address. Enter the local lan address in the address bar, for example: 192.168.1.100:80

One easy way to remember this is to place an entry in the HOSTS file.

If the PC were on LAN IP 192.168.1.100, the HOSTS entry would read:

192.168.1.100
The HOSTS file is usually found in c:\windows\system32\etc and can be edited with notepad. Be certain that notepad does not add a ".txt" extension to the file. It has no file extension.

This entry would be made on each PC, or by copying the HOSTS file.
