Cannot access mailbox 2

Hello, i am new to Meridan mail system.
The problem i am having is that when i reset my password
for my mailbox, i still cannot not access it from the
phone extension.Does the meridan system lock passwords
if they are entered incorrectly.Also i thought reseting the pasword would have resolved this.

Can anyone help me with this, as its driving me nuts.

check that you have not locked up the mailbox,,make sure login is enabled not disabled
 
I know this sounds stupid, but how do you check thatif it is
enabled, it took me a week to figure out how to reset my password.

When looking at the user's mailbox under User Administration (same screen where you reset the password), cursor down until you see logon status. Verify that enabled is highlighted. If it is disabled, just cursor to the right and it be enabled. Save and you're ready to go.
