I have a report with multiple Groupheaders some of which have a Groupfooter associated with them. One of the headers with a footer is Invoice Number. The invoice number may have multiple lines and thus may cover more than one page before the footer is printed. Is there a way to shrink the space taken up by the footer until it is ready to be printed. What I mean is cancel the footer until the invoice number changes in the invoice header.

I hope this explanation is not over convulated. Thanks.

Hi Eddy,

This isn't an option, as a report cannot 'second-guess' when you want to shrink, and when you don't. Your option will be to repeat the Group Header across pages - thus the reader doesn't lose context in the report, when partial data carries across.

BTW. The word is 'convoluted'. (Probably a typo, but I'm a pedantic s.o.b.) [wink]
