While getting our tape drive back on line an "Eject" command was given to Backup Exec. Well, it's still sitting there an hour later. Anyway to kill the eject command without rebooting the machine?

What tape drive are you using?

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

You can try stopping and restarting all the Backup Exec services, sometimes this clears stuck jobs.
