Is is possible to use Dynamic Local User policies to log someone in to a NT Domain (Not Active Directory)? If this is not possible can someone help with a way to log someone on to a Domain through ZfD4.

Cheers,
Johan

DLU is for workstations only, if you want to automatically create useraccounts in your domain you have to use DIRXML which is included in the Product.

Best source of info in this case would be the documentation about DirXML on

If you are using a domain, you do not need to use DLU. As Marcus status, it is for workstations. The DLU feature will only create a user ID in the local workstation SAM database to allow an NDS user to authenticate in the workstations local security, not the domain.

I could be wrong, but I don't recall DirXML driver for domains being included with ZFD4. It is included with ZENworks version 6, but that is also a complete suite of all the ZENworks products. If you purchased upgrade protection when you bought your ZFD4 license, you should be entitled to an upgrade. That will get you the DirXML drivers you need sync domain and NDS user ID's passwords and groups.

If you don't have upgrade protection, look at the cost of an upgrade and compare it to the cost of Account Manager. Both product do the same thing, only in different manors.
