Afternoon,
I am an owner of a small company with 50 people and a couple of servers with server 2003 on them.
Our file server is MS server 2003, 32bit.
We have 10 clients and a directory for each one on, lets say drive M:. In each of those 10 directories there are more project directories. We have 50 people working in these directories all day.
My problem is that some people have "cowboy hands" they do an accidental drag and drop and whole directories get moved to another directory. Is there any way of turning off the drag or drop?
I know that one solution is training of people and the other is creating a drive for each client, but there are only so may drive letters available. I think you can turn off "write" rights but then people will not be able to save their work.
Any ideas would be great.
CHeers,
Sean
