can you turn a bar chart into a line graph

is there a way to turn a bar chart into a line graph in crystal. What I mean by this is that I want ta line chart,but when I do that the lines connect themselves, like when you were little and you played connect the dots. This does not accurately potray my data. My data is more of a stair step. Is there a way to potray my data in more of a stair step fashiion , then what it's doing now tith the "connect the dot method" line chart.
