We have DL380G2s and want to conserve Pci slots. Can you configure a failover team consisting of a PCI 1000mbps card and the onboard 100mbps card?

Can you team two NICs with dissimmilar speeds as failover pair?

Mitchelld1, I assume that the Gig-E nic card is a NC61xx series, and that he onboard 100mb nic is a NC77xx series. That being the case, you can team the two because they do use the same driver. You would have to install both in the Compaq/HP configuration GUI, and then team them. Good Luck.
