Hi,

I have a muti-homed 2003 sever ( Server A ) each nics are on a seperate LAN . Nightly DNS is registering both both IP to Server A. Does any one know how to stop a NIC from registering with DNS?

Thanks

Uncheck the box "Register this connection's address in DNS", in the TCP/IP properties (DNS Tab) for that NIC.

I have that box uncheck all ready. However the IP is still registering in the DNS database. Any other thoughts?

Yes, you have to modify the registry. I have my documentation what I did, but if you want the explanation, go to and search the tutoriol to create vpn gateway to gateway.
