Can you split a dynamic Cascading parameter between the main report and a sub report?

Hi,
I have a client who wants a drill-down report with subreports, with the main report selecting data for one, many or all 'Regions' within the State (of which there are 9), then when they click on one of the Regions once the report has generated (Report groups
