I have creatd a Flash menu and Flash page, i want to call differnt scenes in the flash page depending on what flash button is pressed. I am currently using the GET URL command to call the page, but it only ever runs the first scene, i cannot get it to run different scenes.

I am new to the game so i maybe overlooking somthing.. somone please help!!

Chris Rice

you can pull up different scenes in two ways that I know of. The easiest it to set up the button's action to go to a particular scene. If you must use URLs to get to a particular scene the scene has to be a stand alone scene with it's own html file name (I'm pretty sure at least). This is because once the flash file is generated into html it' considered to be one page even though there is the illusion of having many (perhaps). That's why the back button doesn't work within a flash site to scene hop (unless each scene is a separate file). I think having buttons go to each particular scene is your best bet (and the viewers, as well).

jonathan
