Can you set up notifications for an additional mailbox in Outlook?

Revisiting thread605-1353118 :

I've tried setting up a rule to notify me when an email is sent to an additional mailbox that I am monitoring from my Outlook 2003, but the rule does not take the assigned actions.

Is there anything else we can do?
