I'm planing to implement remote management into the company network. I'v chosen VNC for this due to its visual interface which helps when working on another PC. The system will incorporate Wake-On-Lan technology so when the VNC client is used, it will go through the companys WRT54G router on the VPN connection and remotely wake up the PC's. After that I should be able to remotely manage them or solve any problems. Now I just need to make it work, is it even possible to do this? -Marshall

I see no reason you cannot do this.
You might consider using Remote Desktop with XP clients, it is a completely secure connection as all traffic is encrypted, authenticated, and faster than VNC.
