Can you run applet on separate server?

I was wondering if it was possible to have the HTML which accesses an applet on one server, and have the applet code actually running on another server?

yes, you can.

Actually Applet code runs on the client machine, not the Server. The Server just host the applet files. The Applet could connect to a server but that is not the same as running on a Server.
