I am working with a Mitel 3300 virtual/Physical 3300 icp system with SIP trunks.
MiVoice Business installed OVA version 7.2.1.24
MiVoice Border Gateway version 9.4.0.31

I had the Sales manager say he thought we were going to route calls to his sales team by state. Is that even possible? What would we need to do to set that up? Has anyone had this ask for this before?

Could you go off the area code of the caller when routing? I did confirm that in the old system (Avaya) they were able to route calls to the sales people based on the area code of the caller.

None of the equipment you've mentioned is capable of routing calls based on calling number.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

You will need a Contact centre to perform this task , it can do routing based on partial Calling Line id or if it has ivr licenses a lookup of a database or excel to work out where to route

Nupoint Vmail can do exact match but not partial

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
