Hi!
I've been working with FrontPage for a while, and I just got Office XP Professional so I now have Access (I've been a mainframe and Paradox for Windows programmer).

Can you recommend a good book on working with Access (and FrontPage hopefully) for creating web databases?

Thank you very much!
H.

The Sybex series "Access 2000 Developer's Handbook" by Litwin, Getz, Gilbert (I presume there is a 2002 version) is highly regarded by many people. It has a section on ASP but don't know if it is exactly what you are looking for. Certainly worth checking out.

Yes, I see on Amazon there is a 2002 version. Thanks!!

Best off to get a good book on ASP, the DB stuff really is not as important as long as you understand SQL, db design and use (which from your Paradox experience is there). My view is that you never know what DB your client/company will choose to work with next...

try Sam's Teach yourself ASP in 21 Days...or....

Sam's Active Web Database Programming in 21 Days

both are excellent.

Que publications also has good book on Access.

Sams SQL in 10 minutes is a great quick reference for understanding the SQL behind all of your queries. It is also a good help for custoimizing the rowsource behind your combo boxes.
