Can you publish Crystal 7 on Eportfolio V10??

Hi,

One of my work areas is using Crystal Ver 7 (yes, you heard right - version 7!).

So can you please tell me if Crystal reports written in Version 7, can be published onto Eportfolio Ver 10 (Crystal Enterprise 10), to run?

Also - does Crystal 7 have parameters?? I can't recall its been years since I used it!.

The was a major change between 8.5 and 9.0 - so I would be surprised if a CR-7 RPT will run in CE-10 without "tweaking".

Also, once the RPT is published in CE-10 - it is a CR-10 file, no way to save it "backwards" into CR-7 again.

Thanks for your info.

I think I have convinced the dept to not even attempt to write any reports in anything before V10.

On a side note though, I have some reports that were written using 8.5, and were published in V10 and are still v8.5 reports when I open them in Crystal - its just if I save them in v10 they update.
