We need to find out when a particular PRI loop started working (previously no traffic on it)
The current history file shows loop in use, & the system event log doesn't go back far enough (Full of FIR alarms caused by customers intra-site fibre being over the stated max)

Can anyone advise if it is possible to retrieve previous history/event logs (say for last couple of days).

Thanks in advance

Regards
Jimbo

Sorry, no. The only thing you get to keep on the PBX is what is in your History buffer. It may be possible to send this out to an active printer or capture it through a TTY, but nothing on the PBX will allow you to go back.

One option going forward is to increase your buffer size, but I don't think that will help more than a few days, depending on switch size and activity.

Hope this helps,

Scott M.

500 lines of txt, which is the default buffer, that can be increased, but don't change the size until after you print it, the buffer size change clears it
