Hi there.

Sorry this might sound like a silly question (i'm new to this) but is it possible to ping the outside interface of a PIX from the inside network with NAT enabled?

Thanks.

You will never be able to ping the outside interface from the internal network. However, you should be able to ping the outside router as lons as you have allowed echo replies through the PIX. You can only ping an interface from the same network the interface resided on. Hope this helps!
