Can You Ping An IP Address From A Phone You Arent At? Through CM somehow? I want to see if a phone at a remote site can ping the boot server.

If you have Avaya log you in to the phone you could make it happen - I don't think you can get in without EASG though.
Otherwise I don't know a way of making this occur.

If you have an LSP at the remote site you could maybe use that to simulate the path.

Assuming H.323 (SIP can be done vial SLAmon).

Status the station. Find the port information (should be something like S19560).

Use the list trace ip-address..... in the SAT.

Use the port for the remote endpoint. Ping whatever you want.

You shouldn't as far as I know. I don't think "list trace" commands require MSPs enabled either. There is a chance your "user-profile" mapping prohibits it though. Do you not have the command? If you do a "display user-profile" for your assigned group, do you have the permissions?
