Is it possible to make forms that can be filled in and then e-mailed to a location - without FrontPage extensions, ASP, perl, cgi etc. on the server. The server I am using does not allow any of those things. Dreamweaver help section says it is not possible to send form data without extensions or scripts. I need help. Thanks.

You will need some sort of script or form handler.

If you host has a built in form handler, then you could use FrontPage to build your form and the built in handler to submit.

If your host has nothing to offer, I think you need a new host.

FrontPage hosting can be had for as little as $4.95 per month.

Another option, would be to create a free site with
They support the extensions. Via this method, you could create a two page web. The form page would be the index page and the confirmation e.g. confirm.htm (you would need to create a custom confirmation page).

Have the form page open in a new window and include a close button on the confirnation page so the users returns to where they started.

Not fancy, but until you get a new host, it will work in a pinch.

Hope I have been of some help,
Micheal Smith
