Can you lock a wepage when burning on a CD?? -------- HELP!!

Here is the problem.
I want to burn a company webpage on a CD for distribution to customers BUT I don't want the user to be able to browse the CD. Is there any way to lock the html and image folders on the CD so the user can still view the webpge but can browse the directory. HELP!!

Hi there,

As far as I'm aware, there is no way to achieve what you are asking (You could probably get a similar effect by re-coding all the pages into a Flash animation - but unless you have a whole heapin'o'time and real motivation to do it, its not worth the effort).

Can I ask the reasoning behind this? Depending on what it is that you don't want the customers to do (re-use your HTML, stea.. ermm.. BORROW images etc) there may be other ways, but as for locking out the entire CD

Problem solved....used Webcompiler to convert the website into a exe.
