How would you go about having windows explorer open to a default directory?

goto to tools - internet options - in home page type in the directory. like C:\Documents and Settings\Tipifire\My Documents - click apply. if you want to know the correct address for you default director. goto the default directory right click in the the white space and select properties. you will see the name target with the directory address highlighted( usally blue) right click on the highlighted part and select copy. Goto to the home in the explorer tools properties and in the white space right click and select paste. then select the apply button and ok this should work. Or a easier way is going to the defualt page in the explorer and goto properties page: by home you will see "current" "default" "blank". Select blank: then apply button; then ok. click home button and it should work. if want to go to a drive or drive number type c:\ for c drive or e:\ for e drive. hope this helps
