can you have 2 versions installed at same time?

I currently have v. 5 installed and need to install v. 6 for another project. I want to have them both available on my pc. It seems that you should be able to install another version in a different directory, right? Is there anything I need to know before I try this?

Hi:

You can have two version of actuate (i am not sure about the report server)installed on the same PC. I have installed Actuate 4.1 Developer workbench and Actuate ErdPro 6.0 installed in the PC. Everything worked fine. Obviously it will be installed to two different directories.
