Hi,

I have been having trouble logging in at one specific website and want to see if it's just me. I simply cannot seem to reach the after login page yet others can. It's just this one login site. It just spins and spins and then times out. Nobody can tell why this is and it's driving me nuts.

Can you do me a favour and try to visit that page? This is where you would go after entering a username and password or clicking 'forgot your password'. I can never get there.

I'd appreciate finding out if others in other cities can get to it.

Thanks!

Works for me on a Mac with Firefox 2.0.7

I notice they are partnered with someone called "DDOS Protection". Not really sure how they work, but I would guess they protect your site by routing your domain through a proxy server and doing a domain redirect/rewrite/forward.

Perhaps you have strict proxy security settings in your browser?

By the way, it would help if we knew your browser/version/operating system.

The site to log in is and when you try to login or click 'forgot your password' (on the right) it tries to go to When I try to go to the latter, it will just keep spinning and never gets anywhere. It times out. I just don't understand why it's this one site for me, some friends, and the computers at Best Buy in my city (Winnipeg, Canada).

The fact that you're getting redirected means it's working for you because I never get anything. Just keeps trying to get there and then eventually times out or the connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. This all started a few weeks ago. Driving me nuts.

I don't get any page! Anything to do with just spins and spins and spins. I have gotten nothing but a grey 'trying to connect' page or a timeout for weeks now. Everything else works fine on my system. I have this problem on my 3 browsers (IE, FF, Opera), on another computer in my house, on my friends computer, and the computers at Best Buy. Others (like you guys/gals) get a page that shows up.

I just don't get it. The website itself says there's no problem (and shown by all of you), it can't be a specific computer problem, and my ISP doesn't think it's them because it's so specific of a site.

So I'm totally screwed because up to a few weeks ago, I could log in no problem. I just don't know what's causing the problem.

Thanks for checking the site for me. I appreciate it!

Try installing Firefox and visiting the page using that browser (if it works, then the problem will be with the configuration of your IE).

Make sure your web page and css validates properly against the doctype you have chosen - before you attempt to debug a problem!

Hi,

I was on another forum and we figured out the problem. We did a tracert to the site and it was clear there was an endless loop from one router. Anyone going down this path (me, my friends, BestBuy, Futureshop, David from Vancouver, etc.) we got stuck and never could reach the site.

Anyways, we contacted the company via the whois info and they found one of their clients had a reverse entry. Everything was fixed and the websites actually come up now!

So, if anyone has a problem of not being able to get to a website, while others can, and you've eliminated problems on your own computer, you're not crazy! Do a tracert in command prompt and see if there's some stupid router out there blocking you from getting to the site. Be aware!

Thanks! :)
