OK I asked this in the CR 4 forum but that may not be the right place maybe i need a forumla im missing somewhere.
I have a series of access 97 queries that gather the data I need. I summarize the data in one final query. The data is linked to account number, payables and recievables. Needless to say 100's of payables and recievables can belong to a single account. I created one query to generate recievables, one for payables and then a third final query to sort by account and business type.
The final query in access displayes the information exactly like I want it: i.e.
account: payable receivable
10210 10,345 12,342
21032 8,656 3,234
Now this can be a compilation of 100's of orders, checks, late fees, etc.
Now I'm trying to mirror the data in a crystal report to make it look better and use carts, etc. When I connect CRE to the final query and just inster the account , payable, and receivable field i get this:
account: payable receivable
10210 8,325 7,342
21032 4,156 2,434
The numbers are always less than what the access query lists. Any Ideas as to why this may be happening?
Thanks in advance.
