Can you export to PDF using Report Automation Server?

We are using several methods to generate reports including the Report Automation Server (cpeaut32.dll) and the Print Engine (crpe32.dll) using CR 8.0

I can export to the new PDF format using the print engine, but have not found a way to export to PDF format using the Report automation server.

I just purchased and installed the version 8.5 upgrade which reportedly supports PDF, but the object browser and developer documentation are both silent on exporting to PDF using these methods....

Has anyone else tried this or found a way to export to PDF using cpeaut32.dll?
