I was just wondering if it is possible to export editable text to dreamweaver or does fireworks always convert text to an image. I think that there may be a way to do it with css. How do you do it.
Yes you can export text, you should be able to take a slice and define it as text/html in the properties box.
Word of warning using fireworks as a web design tool rather than taking the specific graphic slices you need and building the site yourself: if you make a layout and export the whole thing, it is going to be a set size, and if you add more text it will look really ugly.
I always design in fireworks, and then take as few graphics as possible over to DW, if you can make background cells, or css do colour fills so much the better for load time.

Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..
