Can you delete AML / VAS without taking full system down?

I was trying to set up SIP conference phones on a cs1000 rls 7.6. I followed Avaya's step by step and created 2 AML and 2 corresponding VAS that have now caused 3 BCM400 on our system to quit talking. They are still registering but get fast busy in and out. The system will not let me delete these features without disabling ELAN and ELNK first. Is there a workaround to get these gone?

delete the VAS
delete the ELAN
