Can you create lightning in Bryce?

Hello. I'm doing an illustration with a spaceship landing on a landing pad and I wanted to have lightning coming down from the ship and hitting the landing pad but I'm not having any luck trying to figure it out myself and I could find no tutorials on lightning. Is this even possible?
