Hi There: I am wondering can you create an append query and eliminate the prompt that asks you "You are about to run an append query that will modify data in your table" and then "You are about to append __ records."

I was thinking that if I wrote the sql statement as vb code, maybe that would work, but am still looking into how the syntax would work.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Beth

You can use the command SetWarnings in a macro or a vba code. Put SetWarnings to false if you don't want to see those messeges. Don't forget to set it back to true if you want to see similar messages for the rest of your application. Or you can manualy turn it of before you run the query from the menu Tools/Options/"Edit/Find" and uncheck "Action Queries".

Thank you - perfect. I used the SetWarnings in my macro.

AWESOME!!!
