I'm using ODE tool to create a runtime version of access mdb on q machine with Windows95, but when I try to install on a machine with Windows98, I keep getting cannot write files, usually WiniNet.Dll. Any suggestions, tips? [sig][/sig]

I don't quite understand the question...

Are you trying to use Access to create an EXE file? As far as I have seen, Access does not and will not produce an EXE file.

Have you tried using the (freely distributable) Access Runtime files available on the Developer CD? Install these on a machine, but not the same machine where you have a copy of the Access Full Version as this will corrupt both versions. To run the database use the following on the command line or in a shortcut:
"<Path to MSAccess.exe>" "<Path to mdb or mde>"

Hope this helps [sig][/sig]

Sorry Phooey, but Access does have a sepparate developer kit which can compile an access database as a stand-alone application. Unfourtunately I have not worked with it so I can't help you jog. Try Phooey's suggestion. [sig][/sig]
