I have a swf file, lets call it Home.swf (but I do not have the source fla file for Home). I am attempting to use a preloader to preload this swf (Home) file, but since I don't have access to the source file I can not do any editing to it and use conventional preloading methods. Therefore my question is, is it possible to create a preloader for just a swf (Home)?

thanks

Could depend on the code within that .swf... Does it already have a preloader? Does it hold code that could be in conflict...
I'd use a decompiler to re-create a new .fla...
Post a link to this .swf, and I'll see what I can do...

I'm leaving in the morning for 3 days though... If you don't post it tonight, I won't be back before Monday night!

The swf file was not originally created in Flash, it was created in captivate so decompiling isn't an option.
