I want to hook a 18D phone and my transtalk to one extension. Why you ask? Well my phone doesn't ring when an outside call comes in but my AutoAttendant sends the call to my expension if the call is for me. If I have the Transtalk on another extension and I'm outside, I want hear the ring when I get called by the AutoAttendant. My thought was that if I have both the 18D and the Transtalk connected to the same extension, I would hear the ring no matter where I was.

Nope - they're both multiline phones, and can't share an extension port.

You could forward the desk phone to the transtalk, or use call coverage.

or you could get a regular analog cordless and plug it in the aux jack of your deskphone
