thank you in advance for the help!
our transport file in /etc/postfix has entries that as similar to this:
ourcompany.com smtp:[internalmail.intranet.ourcompany.com]
.ourcompany.com smtp:[internalmail.intranet.ourcompany.com]
We are trying to cut over to a new address and I've been asked to put the new route as the primary and the existing one as the secondary. Is it as simple as a comma delimiter? Maybe sometime like this?
ourcompany.com smtp:[internalmail.intranet.ourcompany.com,new-address.internalmail.intranet.ourcompany.com]
.ourcompany.com smtp:[internalmail.intranet.ourcompany.com,new-address.internalmail.intranet.ourcompany.com]
unfortunately, I do not have a test environment to play with this. I need to make the changes right in productions and we have global offices. I'd like to get it right the first time.
Thanks bunches,
Maria
