If you do not have the GroupWise 5.5 Enhancement Pack installed (no HTML email support):

Fonts for individual messages can be changed by hitting F9 while viewing any outgoing mail item.

To change mail fonts for all mail, you have to change Windows default font settings.
1. Right-click on the Windows desktop, then choose "Properties".
2. Select the "Appearance" tab.
3. In the "Item" drop-down menu, choose "Message Box".
4. Choose the desired font.
5. Click OK.
NOTE: The above steps will also modify the font for the TO:, CC:, and BC: address lines, of a message in GroupWise.

If you have the Enhancement Pack installed:

1. Click the Tools->Options... menu item in GroupWise.
2. Double-click the Environment icon.
3. On the Views tab, set HTML as your Default Compose View and click OK.
4. Close the Options dialog box.
5. Open a new mail message.
6. Change the font type, size, color, or anything that you would like to change.
7. Right-click the font toolbar and select "Set current font as default".
