Can you change datatypes with a Make Table Query

Please Help!

I'm running a make table query from a linked table. The datatype in the linked table is Number, in the new table I need it to be a datatype of Text. Is it possible to do this? Is there a function in access that will do this?

see the STR (string) function. You should be able to use it in your Make-Table:


MyNumberasText: STR(Numberguy)
