Help please. We have just gone live with a Partner phone system, release 4.1. Are incoming lines are set to pooled. My question is this: If I have an incoming call at my extension and I do not answer within 5 rings it then goes back to the operator. The operator then pages me that I have a call at my desk. How can I answer/pick that call from another extension/phone?

Thanks for the help!

call pickup should do it for you

intercom 6 and then the ext number you want to answer

The operator can park the call by transferring it to his/her own extension - the you could pick it up by dialing intercom 6 his/her extension # - also if the call is on hold on a line number you could dial intercom 6 - 8 and then the line #. (e.g. pick up line 3 would be intercom 6803)

You also have 4 seperate call pick-up groups available. Group your sales phones together in group 1, your service phones in group 2, etc.

To pick up a call ringing at another extension in your group, you don't have to know the other extension number, you dial intercom 6-6-X, where X is the group number that you and the other phone are members of.
