can wsus push out unapproved security updates

I have several security updates that came out 1/10 that seem to have been pushed out to clients without any manual approval by me. Is this possible for wsus? or is something else going on?

these updates have broken several computers and i dont know how the updates are getting pushed out

Never mind, I found in wsus where it has some settings that allow it to automatically push out certain classes of updates.

Under the Update Services - Options there is a section for Automatic Approvals and the settings can be modified here.
