I understand that Win SE cannot be a server for a VPN. Is this the same for Win ME? If so should I upgrade to Win2000 or something else?? I am currently running a two computer network in the office that I want to allow one VPN connection to the server.

Thanks
Kurt

No Windows ME cannot serve VPN. Windows 2000 Server on up will only serve PPTP and/or L2TP. You can also employ a router to deliver another highly secure VPN using IPSEC. Employing a router is a bit more complex. Windows 2000 Server has built in wizards that will configure the routing for you in several easy steps. A static ip from your isp is easiest, but you can also use a dynamic ip configuration using dyndns.org and a utility to update your ip in real time. Hope this helps!
