Can we Use Prompts in WIASP ???

WE are trying to build reports which are driven by couple of selection criterias...taken from prompts..then use these selected values to speed up the main report....I know that we can use prompts in WI but we want this to be implemented in WIASP.. has anybody got any suggestions...i.e. we are trying to make our own portal....
