Hi,

I'm not completely familiar with the technical side of SharePoint, so I apoligize if my question is not clear.

We have a list, to track Support Tickets (Incidents, Issues,... whatever you want to call them). We will soon need to archive our tickets, and start a new list. But, I would like to start the new list's counter at the number we reached on the current list.

For example. We have openned 1540 tickets. I would like the new list to start at "1541" and the id would increment starting at that number.

Hopefully my question is clear :)

Thanks,

Thanks dinger2121.

I was hoping there was a setting value I could simply manually set to the desired value -- seeing that for the current ticket numbering process we have SP took care of it.

I'll try what you suggested!

Thanks!
