Can we install SQL server 2000 on Windows 2000 professional? how?

I am tryin to install SQL server 2000 on my Windows 2000 professional machine. Unfortunately I got an error which is"
"microsoft SQL server 2000 standard edition server component is not supported on this operating system. only client components will be available for installation".

How can fix it?

You cannot install SQL 2000 standard.

You can MSDE or Developer.

Standard must be installed on a Server OS

Windows 2000 Server or NT4.

2000 Pro is not a server OS.

I can download the MCDE 2000 from Microsoft website and install it on my computer. How can I integrate this SQL server engineer with client management tools from my SQL server standard CD?

If you have a copy of SQL 2000 Standard, you can load the client tools from that and use them to manipulate MSDE.
