I'm trying to see if I'm better off using Visual Basic or Visual C++ in order to use a particular program on a web page, which is Cold Fusion based.

Is there a Cold Fusion tag that could include a Visual Basic program, or am I stuck with Visual C++? Should I direct this question also to the Cold Fusion board?
Thanks!

I understand that Active Server Pages let you include VB coe in your web pages. And that's about all I kno about it. There's some good examples of this on the microsoft web site if you look at the source code.
Yes, but this isn't an Active Server Page; it's Cold Fusion.
I think I better wait for the Cold Fusion people to tell me. :) Thanks anyhow....

One thing you might try.....CF is page-based; that is, it's a part of the HTML of a page & that's where it's beauty comes in; it's compatible with just about anything.......VBscript, which is _very_ much the same as the VB you're used to working with, can also, now, be implemented into your HTML to do server-side and/or client-side tasks; maybe implementing the two into the HTML together would be your best bet.
in addition to the VBScript you should be able to use DHTML which VB6 has the ablity to help design and it is more like vb then VBScript is... also able to do more things like VB then VBScript. They are both able to be put in to Cold Fusion. As long as you know the tags to use...
