I know the newer viruses such as netskyp ( the one I am actually having isues with ) can spoof from addresses but can it spoof the ip address that it is coming from?
I am getting about 20 emails a day with the netsky and when I trace down the source the emails are coming from a ip address of a former customer of mine. they say that they scaned all of their systems and they have no viruses,,, but I have my own email server and when I look at the logs ,,, the emails are defin. coming from thier building because it is thier static ip in the log. also when I view the source of each of the emails the ip address is located there as well..
Thanks in adv
