Can version 6.61 backup a second NIC and

How do you configure Arcserve to do it.
I want to install a 2nd network card in a number of servers that needs to be backed up.Then assign a IP address to the 2nd NIC thus creating a seperate netwrok with own switch...etc to be used by Arcserve.

The reason for this is becasue I'm getting about 28 to 38 MB/Min and that is taking to long to backup about 150 GIG.Actually it dos not finish in 24 hours.

On your main NICs, have you forced the speed/duplex settings on both server and switch port? This is one of the common reasons for porr backup performance as Arcserve does not handle auto negotiate network settings well.

Thanks I know the switches has been set..but I will check the Nic on the servers ....thanks
