Can VBA in Excel call a VB subroutine?

I'm writing some VBA routines to run in Excel and I have some VB routines I wish to run on cue from VBA functions in the spreadsheet in realtime. Is it possible to call the VB routines or better yet possible to re-write the VB routines in the VBA in Excel?
