Hey all. Curious to know if VB can simulate/emulate a mouse pick before I get to know the language any further. Working on a little program at work that could help save some man hours, hopefully, and was wondering if VB would be a good tool or not. ANy help is appreciated.

yes - an actual mouse event just calls a VB procedure which can also be called from within the VB program - so it looks to the VB program just like a real mouse event.
Hmm - do you mean "simulate a mouse event in another program"?
Do you mean does VB know if you clicked either mouse button.
The answer is yes. There are several Mouse events.
Or you can get them from and API (Application Programmers Interface) call.
I use VB and Access for everything I mean everything
It hasn’t let me down yet.
If you buy VB6 get the "Professional" Version.
Enterprise Edition is more for large applications with lots of programmers working on the same project.
"Pro" has lots of wizards and so forth.
A lesser version than Pro will not have full functionality.
