Can unread messages in subfolders show on parent folder?

Hi
I'm using Outlook 2000 (Not on exchange server) and have lots of sub-folders under my inbox. Rules have been set up to filter incoming mail into various sub-folders. Presently, unread messages are indicated by the blue figure in brackets next to each individual folder, but if the inbox folder is not expanded, I can't see if there are unread messages in the subfolders.

Is there a way of showing the total number of unread messages in inbox sub-folders next to my inbox?
